Hazel started her career in management working in the retail sector with Littlewoods and Sainsbury. Then for 24 years worked for Bidvest foodservice a major international foodservice distributor. 14 years in management and key leadership roles within the contact centre environment and operations and 10 years in a Learning and Development role.

This has given Hazel invaluable knowledge of the key challenges that people managers face and the experience of how to overcome them and achieve business results.

Hazel’s Learning and Development role focussed on:

Management and Leadership development

Designing and delivering Leadership programmes, Insights discovery and generic soft skills. From initial needs analysis, design and delivery through to evaluation. Using a blend of realistic, practical and fun workshops which promote discussion and produce results time and time again. Alongside 1:1 coaching to encourage Individuals to be proactive, develop their potential and achieve personal and business goals.

Telesales and Fieldsales training

Providing a structured approach to selling with steps of the call, planning and upselling on calls, negotiation, questioning and listening skills. Training Sales managers on how to coach and build performance within their teams.

Hazel is also an experienced Insights accredited practitioner with over 5 year’s extensive experience using Insights discovery as the building blocks for self-awareness and development. More recently (last 12 months) Hazel has been working as a freelance Learning and Development consultant. Continuing to work with Senior managers and Directors to first time Managers and Supervisors in both operations and sales.


Hazel engages with key stakeholders to understand and identify their priorities, then designs a bespoke package which fits with the needs and culture of their business.

Hazel is passionate about creating the best possible learning environment to ensure training solutions are fit for purpose and produce the required results. Workshops are designed to be very interactive and practical, creating a safe learning environment which enables participants to fully engage and achieve their learning objectives.
